2026 Joint Meeting of the International Society of Forest Resource Economics and Western Forest Economists

The International Society of Forest Resource Economics (ISFRE) and Western Forest Economists (WFE) host their annual meetings every spring. After many years, ISFRE and WFE join forces again to bring together representatives from industry, consulting, academia, and federal and state agencies to learn about and discuss current issues in the economics of natural resources, forest markets, environmental change, timberland investments, and forest products trade.

The 2026 joint meeting is scheduled from May 18-20, 2025, at the Hilton Fort Collins, Colorado. Home to Colorado State University, Fort Collins is known for its historic downtown, Old Town district, and nationally recognized craft breweries. Fort Collins is 65 miles north of Denver, situated on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains with views of 14,000-foot peaks. Visitors can enjoy miles of bike trails, hike in the nearby Horsetooth Mountain Open Space, kayak or paddleboard on Horsetooth Reservoir, and drive less than an hour to Rocky Mountain National Park. Fort Collins also offers lively arts and music and various dining options.

ISFRE and WFE invite everyone to join us in Fort Collins in 2026.
